Apollo RPDALF4AN Series reduced pressure detector assemblies (RPDAs) are used in plumbing and water supply systems to monitor and detect potential backflow conditions, thereby preventing contaminants to enter the potable water supply. They employ a reduced pressure zone configuration, consisting of two check valves and a pressure relief valve in between. This arrangement helps maintain a lower pressure zone between the two check valves, reducing the risk of backflow. These vertical up / vertical down oriented assemblies are integrated with an internal swivel connection that helps pivot the second check valve (which is situated downstream) to 180 degrees vertical up flow orientation. This allows consistent water flow in situations where the backflow preventer is in a vertical up (upstream) position. They are made of stainless steel for excellent durability and feature a bypass assembly to allow quick maintenance and servicing without interrupting the water supply. These lead-free devices also include flowmeters that measure the flow rate of water in gallons per minute, snap-in check retainers to hold the check valves in place and stainless steel coupling & bolts to get access to check valves and relief valves, respectively.
Apollo 4SG Series double-check valve assemblies are designed to prevent the backflow of contaminated water into the potable water supply system. They consist of two independently operating check valves (arranged in series), allowing double protection against backflow. These units have resilient seats to provide a bubble-tight seal between the valve body and the closure element (disc). They are made of high-quality materials for durability and corrosion resistance and have a grooved body for easy installation and maintenance. These double-check valves are ideal for use in commercial, industrial and municipal applications, such as water treatment plants, irrigation and fire sprinkler systems.
