BDayton Class 2 transformers are used in low voltage applications, such as digital controllers, gas controls, motor actuators, ignition systems, staging controls and HVACR control systems. Selected models come with thermal circuit breakers to protect equipment and internal components from current overload and short circuit conditions. They feature plate / frame / enclosed type transformer enclosure that allows application in specific conditions and can easily replace any existing transformer with the same primary and secondary voltages / VA ratings (equal / less than original). FClass 2 transformers deliver power of 100 VA or less with a maximum output voltage of 30 VAC or less. Dayton Class 2 transformers are designed for gas valves, thermostats & relays.They feature a fixed apparent power rating of 40 VA and are UL & cULus listed for use in electrical components.
