Dayton 5L Series DC gearmotors provide high starting torque and precise variable-speed control for controlling wheelchairs, hospital beds, table lifts, power seats & more. They are powered by a DC power source for running TENV motor which in turns rotate the shaft with a maximum torque of 280 in-lb. The shaft can rotate in both clockwise and counterclockwise directions. These motors feature gear oil lubrication and ball bearings for smooth operation. DC Gearmotors, Permanent Magnet Motor Design
Dayton DC gearmotors use DC power source to provide high torque and variable speed control, especially where space & power are limited. These units feature parallel shaft orientation to choose the ratio & torque required for specific operations, such as conveyor systems, wheel chairs, hospital beds, table lifts and power seats. They consist of a motor, gear and bearings to smoothly change the direction at low speeds and handle sudden stops, without causing wear to the moving parts. These gearmotors also feature TENV (totally enclosed non-ventilated) enclosures to restrict circulation of outside air and contaminants and can be easily mounted in small spaces in multiple positions. Choose from a wide range of these DC gearmotors, available in 1/8, 1/4 and 1/10 hp motor power ratings.
