- Double-end threaded studs have threads on both sides to resist loosening due to vibration and to attach a nut.
- They can be installed in a tapped hole with a nut or washer on the other end for clamping a fixture onto the surface.
- Double-end threaded studs are generally stronger than a standard bolt for fastening applications.
- They have an unthreaded middle section for gripping & adjusting the connection.
- They can be used to connect parts having coarse threads to other parts having fine threads or parts with right-hand direction threads to parts with left-hand direction threads.
- Selected models have a hex drive for ease of installation and an unthreaded tip for threading into nuts easily, thereby preventing damage to the threads.
