CBFC Series Counter Balanced Floor Cranes

Vestil CBFC Series counter balanced floor cranes feature an adjustable boom for maximum adjustment and versatility to lift variety of loads up to 2000 lb. The counterbalance design eliminates the need for front legs for easy manoeuvring in hard to reach areas. These floor cranes come with a boom that can be raised with a manual hydraulic hand pump or push of a button on DC powered units for greater reach. They are integrated with Power Traction Drive system to reduce fatigue and chances of injury. All the units are equipped with two rigid, glass-filled nylon casters and two swivel phenolic casters with side brake for easy and safe mobility.

Features

  • Vestil engine stands and cranes are equipped with casters (rigid & swivel) for transporting the unit or load to the desired location.
  • Selected models have telescoping booms for a greater reach.
  • Vestil EHN crane engine hoists have an air-powered / manual hand pump for lifting loads.
  • These Vestil EHN crane engine hoists come in two variants, one having telescoping legs and another having foldable legs.
  • Models having telescoping legs are used for extra reach & greater counterbalancing while handling heavier loads, whereas models having foldable legs are used for optimising / saving space when the unit is not in use.
  • Vestil H-TRAIL hoist trailer is used for lifting applications on the move as it can be towed easily behind a car or truck. We also offer Vestil H-TRAIL-HTH optional brake light kit with a wiring harness for use with this hoist trailer.
  • Counter balanced floor cranes have a counterbalance design that eliminates the front legs requirement and allows easy manoeuvring in tight & hard to reach areas.
  • These counterbalanced cranes further feature a power traction drive system for reducing worker fatigue & safely transporting loads.

Working Mechanism

  • Move the crane or hoist to the desired location.
  • Apply caster brakes or other means to fix the unit in place.
  • Apply riggings to the load and attach them to the hooks on the unit's boom.
  • Use diverse handle mechanisms or an air pump to move the boom & raise the load.
  • Selected models can be slowly moved while keeping the load stable while transporting.
  • Lower the boom until the load is completely supported by the ground or another flat surface. Remove the riggings & safely store the unit.

How to assemble Vestil EHN crane engine hoists having air / hand pumps?

  • Attach swivel casters to the base frame using nuts, washers & lock washers.
  • Secure two legs into the base using screws.
  • Fix the main support post on the base assembly and attach the boom to the support post.
  • Attach support brackets to the frame base & the main support post's top.
  • Connect the air cylinder's bottom to the main support post and its top to the boom by holding the boom up.
  • Slide the boom extensions (optional) into the boom and fix it in position.
  • Tighten all the nuts, bolts & lock washers.
