Gas Vent Pipe Supports

Gas vent pipe supports are used with Type B gas vents and also serve as a firestop. These firestop plates are used in conjunction with the support bracket to accommodate gas vents with diameters ranging from 3 to 6 inches. When used in the attic, the fire stop must be placed on top of the framed ceiling opening to prevent insulation and debris from entering the vent pipes.
