Eaton SV7-10-4/4P/4S Series solenoid valves are electromechanical devices used for controlling the flow of fluids like liquids or gases. They consist of a solenoid coil, a spool mechanism and four ports. When an electrical current is passed through the coil, a magnetic field is generated that causes the spool mechanism to actuate. This movement allows opening / closing of specific pathways (ports) within the valve. They further incorporate a Viton seal between the spool and the valve body, providing a tight and reliable seal to prevent fluid leakage when the valve is closed or is in a default position. These solenoid valves have an aluminium housing with excellent corrosion resistance, easy handling and the ability to withstand temperatures ranging between -40 and 120 degrees Celsius.
