Plug gauges, also referred to as pin gauges, are primarily used for measuring the internal diameters of holes drilled or machined inside the assembly, component housing and manufactured part. Raptor Supplies offers a wide range of premium-quality plug gauges from brands, like OSG and Vermont Gage. These plug gauges provide accurate assessment without the requirement of inside micrometres and are designed for inspecting Whitworth screws and female threads. They comprise a passing and a stopping end for verifying the maximum and minimum pitch diameter limits and feature tool steel / high-speed steel construction with a chrome-plated / bright finish for ensuring resistance against oxidation reactions in the exposed surfaces.
