Features

Destaco pneumatic parallel grippers feature 2-jaw configuration for grasping, placing, holding or releasing an object.
They are equipped with patented & preloaded, dual-V roller bearings for accuracy and maintaining zero side play.
Some models are integrated with a hardened steel bottom for ease in part pressing applications.
Selected models include Buna-N seal for handling harsh chemicals & compounds, grit or debris. They also feature a long finger grip design for handling large and wide parts in gantry systems.
These grippers incorporate a patented double wedge design with a robust sealed interior for superior gripping force in high impact applications.
They offer excellent parallelism and accuracy between gripper mounting surfaces and jaw surfaces.
They have hardened & plated jaws for wear resistance and long life.
They offer high grip force with respect to weight, owing to the extremely efficient drive mechanism.

Working Mechanism

As the packed air is brought into the cylinder, it controls the piston rod.
The piston rod is associated with the gripping fingers. As the pneumatic force moves the piston up and down, the fingers open or close in a parallel or angular manner.
