Shrink tubing is used to insulate & protect wire connections, splices, joints and terminals from damage & fire and provides abrasion resistance. Raptor Supplies offers a wide range of shrink tubing from brands like 3M, Ideal, Insultab, Power First, Raychem, Vinylguard and Quick Cable. 3M EPS-400 Series heat shrink tubing is CSA certified and UL recognised to protect electronic components, wire splices, wire bundles and harness breakouts from harsh environment. This tubing rapidly shrinks to a skintight fit when heated in excess of 121 degrees Celsius (250 deg F), to form a permanent, non-drying, flexible and water-resistant barrier. It is available for cable sizes ranging from 1 to 14 AWG. Insultab offers heat shrink tubing assortments and kits meeting all relevant UL, CSA and military specifications and are RoHS compliant. These tubing kits are ideal for use in maintenance & repair, electrical engineering and circuit design applications. We also offer heat-shrinkable end caps from Raychem which can fully encapsulate or seal terminations to provide protection against dust, dirt and moisture. These end caps have an encapsulant or adhesive lining that melts and flows to fill surface irregularities. They can resist abrasion, vibration and flexing.
