These locking devices feature nylon / thermoplastic / thermoset / aluminium copper free nylon / reinforced thermoplastic polyester / phenolic construction to offer outstanding dielectric strength, low thermal conductivity and excellent wear & abrasion resistance. They can withstand temperatures up to 85 degrees C and are available in 2, 3 & 4 pole configurations.

Hubbell Wiring Device-Kellems locking receptacles provide a powerful grip on a cord in situations where it can unintentionally get detached by vibrating power tools, tripping hazards or damage to ceiling mounts. These receptacles feature a spring-loaded safety shutter that automatically ejects the plugs if not properly locked into the female device, to virtually eliminate burn-up. They have curved slots to accept matching curved blades on compatible locking plugs. These units are available in 50 and 60A current ratings on Raptor Supplies.

They also prevent water from entering the connection & causing electrical surges and feature nylon construction for high tensile strength & non abrasion. Further, these NEMA certified devices are equipped with curved slots to allow matching curved blades to fit on suitable plugs and have twist-lock properties, ensuring tight connection.
