When water pressure drops, these devices automatically open to admit air, breaking the vacuum and preventing the reverse flow of non-potable water into the clean water supply. They feature bronze construction with polished chrome finish for resisting corrosion on exposed surfaces. These vacuum breakers can be operated at pressures up to 125 psi.
