It features a grooved Poly-V belt for efficient power transmission and a front roller to easily move over rough surfaces.
Engineered for timber framing and other heavy-duty woodworking applications, this Makita power planer runs on a powerful 15 A motor that is capable of delivering speeds up to 12000 rpm.
The large ejection chute of this planer provides high chip-discharge rate, which further prevents clogging from wet or dry wood chips.
Another Makita planer, capable of delivering speeds up to 8500 rpm, is also available.
